Calif. Asm. Kevin McCarty Introduces Measure to Make CA Legislators Pay for Sexual Harassment Payouts – AB 1750

SACRAMENTO, Calif. /California Newswire/ -- Fulfilling his commitment to address sexual harassment at the State Capitol, Calif. Assemblymember Kevin McCarty (D – Sacramento), on Wednesday introduced AB 1750, which would require the California State Senate and the California State Assembly to seek reimbursement for any sexual harassment settlements paid by the Legislature when there is clear evidence of wrongdoing by a legislator.
