Dr. Thienna is challenging the current record of 4,656 squats in one hour. The event will be held at the San Francisco State University Basketball Gymnasium.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Full Performance Fitness Inc. has signed a deal with new Detroit Red Wings defenseman Garrett Stafford. Garrett is a Los Angeles native, but played in the northeast growing up. He finished the regular season as the Sharks top scoring defenseman and T-8th among AHL blueliners with 41 points.

IRVINE, Calif. -- Despite not being invited to the NFL Combine, Maurice Price, the nations leading receiver in 2006, has impressed NFL scouts. His agent, Bert Briones of Hip Athletics, reports that a number of clubs have invited him to visit their facilities and hope to draft him. Next week, Price will visit the Kansas City Chiefs and also attend an additional individual workout.

Bert Briones, Miller's agent and president of Hip Athletics, reports that the selection committee was pleased to add Miller to the roster. "The size-speed combination Ricky has makes him an intriguing linebacker prospect to NFL experts," Briones said.
