Woessner-Gonzalez, of Granite Bay, has been appointed Director of the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, where she has served in several roles including as Chief Deputy Director since 2021 and as Chief of the Tax Policy Bureau from 2016 to 2021.

First, Panorea Avdis, 33, of Sacramento, has been appointed chief deputy director of the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz). Avdis has been chief of staff to Sacramento County Supervisor Phil Serna since 2010.
