Carmike Summer Kid Series

VIERA, Fla., July 2, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — This summer will be jam-packed with kid friendly activities at The Avenue Viera. From Carmike Cinemas’ Summer Kid Series, Pizza Gallery & Grill’s Summer Art Camp to craft classes for kids at Michaels, kids will never want to leave The Avenue Viera.

The Carmike Summer Kid Series will present a kid-friendly film at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week in July. The fee is $4 and includes a small popcorn and drink. Movies include “Megamind,” “Shrek Forever After,” “Marmaduke,” “Spongebob: Sponge Out of Water” and “Paddington.”

Pizza Gallery & Grill will have a Summer Art Camp for kids ages 8 – 12 on July 7 and 21, 2015. For $45, kids will get an interactive tour of the kitchen, be able to create their own pizza and be served lunch on the patio. There will be a painting class with instructor Jen Bonset, where kids will be able to create their own artistic masterpiece to bring home.

Finally, Michaels will be offering Kids Club classes for $2 on Saturdays in July. Kids can learn foam printing on July 11, create a Minion wood frame on July 18 or make a frame decorated with buttons on July 25. Drop in between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for 30 minutes of creative fun!
