California Newswire – OPINION: LOS ANGELES, Calif. — In perhaps one of the more touching human responses to the tragic firestorms scorching and leveling Los Angeles area neighborhoods this past week, is a video posted today by tech YouTuber BitWit (Kyle), He was at CES when the fires broke out, and sadly his home and neighborhood were not spared from the fires.
In the video he’s posted, where friends help him and his girlfriend walk from the roadblocks up to his home, or what used to be his home, he surveys the damage to homes and sifts through what is left of his personal belongings like his computers, appliances, and lemon trees. Hi cats were rescued in time, thankfully.

In ths video, he says, “I think the thing that stands out to me most is just how lucky I am to have so many supportive people in my life. I was getting text messages, voicemals, calls from everyone – people who I interact with every day, to people I haven’t heard from in years. Just offering a place to stay, a place for my cats to hang out, food, clothes everything. It’s been pretty incredible. People are amazing and I’m very very blessed to have you.”
“I say goodbye to this chapter of my life, I guess on to the next one.”
