Governor Gavin Newsom announced the appointment of Tia Boatman-Patterson as Senior Advisor on Housing, Christina Snider as Tribal Advisor and Executive Secretary to the Native American Heritage Commission, and Anna Naimark as Tribal Negotiations Advisor in the Office of the Governor, along with the reappointment of Carl Guardino to the Transportation Commission.
Calif. Gov. Brown Appoints Cynthia Gomez as Governor's Tribal Advisor
SACRAMENTO, Calif. /California Newswire/ -- Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointment. Cynthia Gomez, 54, of Sacramento, has been appointed Governor's Tribal Advisor and executive secretary for the Native American Heritage Commission. Gomez has been the chief justice for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians Tribal Court since 2010.
