CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Paul Morse, GCP, CR, CAPS is the first builder/remodeler in the northeast, and the third in the nation, to receive the National Association of Remodeling Industries (NARI) Green Certified Professional designation. Morse receives this certification after one and a half years of study with NARI, facilitating their Green Remodeling study group, and practicing sustainable building for over 3 decades. NARI has established the Green Certified Professional (GCP) designation to promote the highest standards of green remodeling through credentialing of remodeling professionals.

In order to attain the GCP certification the remodeler must have been a full time remodeler for at least 5 years, have conducted remodeling projects using green principles, practices, or products for at least 3 years, have continuing education in sustainable renovation, and pass a comprehensive examination.

Paul Morse is an owner and president of Morse Constructions, Inc., a design/build renovation firm with offices in Somerville, Massachusetts.
