“For many Angelenos, quality of life directly correlates with the quality of their daily commute. By filling 20,000 potholes this weekend, we have helped improve our streets, reduced the amount of time residents spend in their cars as well as how much money they spend on auto repairs.
The momentum from “Operation Pothole” will help propel our year-round efforts to re-surface streets and alleviate traffic congestion. This year’s budget allocates funding to fill 300,000 potholes, a 20% increase from last year.
We need your help to ensure that every community in Los Angeles can reap the benefits of having smoother, safer streets. Please continue to identify potholes in your neighborhood by calling 3-1-1. Together, we will be able to fill two million potholes by the end of this year.”
