OAKLAND, Calif. /California Newswire/ — Oakland Military Institute (OMI), a free college prep charter school, announces several members of its senior class have received college acceptances. The school provides a structured and rigorous academic college preparatory program for Bay Area boys and girls in grades six through twelve. Seventy-five percent of OMI’s graduating class attends four-year colleges and universities.

Some cadets are still waiting to hear from colleges. They have until May 1, 2009 to choose the college they will attend.
