LONG BEACH, Calif. /California Newswire/ — Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell (D-Long Beach) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying outstanding local teachers to honor at his 3rd Annual Teacher Recognition Ceremony. To be eligible, nominations for educators who live or work within Long Beach, San Pedro, Signal Hill or Catalina Island must be received by April 20, 2017.
“As a teacher, I appreciate the level of care and dedication that it takes to ensure every student succeeds,” said Assemblymember O’Donnell, Chair of the Assembly Education Committee. “The Teacher Recognition Ceremony is an opportunity for us to celebrate our local teachers who go above and beyond to inspire students to reach their full potential.”
Teacher nominations are being accepted online, by email, fax, or mail, and should be directed to Assemblymember O’Donnell’s District Office:
