WASHINGTON, D.C. and SAN FERNANDO, Calif. /California Newswire/ — On Thursday, U.S. Representative Tony Cárdenas will receive the Congressional Advocate Award at the 2nd Annual Multicultural Media Correspondents Dinner. Congressman Cárdenas is being recognized for his role in founding the Multicultural Media Caucus and for championing media diversity issues in Congress.

The Congressman will be presented with the award and give remarks at the dinner Thursday evening.
