SACRAMENTO, Calif. /California Newswire/ — Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointment. Patricia Mazzilli, 53, of Stockton, has been appointed executive director at the Corrections Standards Authority.
Since 2009, Mazzilli has been chief probation officer at the San Joaquin County Probation Department, where she has served in multiple positions since 1985. Mazzilli was a group counselor at the Mary Graham Children’s Shelter from 1984 to 1985. She is a member of the American Probation and Parole Association.
This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $105,060. Mazzilli is a Republican.
