SACRAMENTO, Calif. /CALIFORNIA NEWSWIRE/ -- On Wed., July 17, Calif. Governor Gavin Newsom announced the following appointments: First, Melany Acosta-Parra, of Kerman, has been appointed to the California Youth Empowerment Commission. Acosta-Parra has been a Recreation Leader for the City of Kerman Parks and Recreation Department since 2021. She served on the Kerman Youth Commission from 2021 to 2024.
