STILLWATER, Okla. — HostBridge(R) Technology, the leading provider of mainframe-based software that allows companies to integrate mainframe CICS(R) applications with any type of distributed application, recorded 118% sales growth in Q1 2008 versus Q1 2007 and net income much higher than Q1 2007. The growth in Q1 2008 continues a string of increasingly strong quarters. In Q4 2007, the company showed record revenues and net income compared to previous Q4 results and sales for all of 2007 were the highest in company history. “These revenue results are very gratifying,” says Russ Teubner, CEO.

“Our successes represent the trust customers place in HostBridge to solve their integration problems and our ability to deliver real solutions. We are attracting new customers at a higher rate and our annual renewals continue to grow. All of this sets the stage for some exciting developments at HostBridge during 2008.”

In 2007, HostBridge Technology became an IBM(R) Advanced Industry-Optimized business partner and was accepted into the IBM SOA Specialty program. In addition, IBM and HostBridge Technology collaborated to allow HostBridge and IBM Rational(R) Developer for System z(TM) to work together, creating a complete integration solution for CICS. HostBridge Technology also strengthened its partnership with CA(TM) (now CA Smart Certified for CA Ideal(TM), CA Telon(R), CA ADS(TM), and CA Gener/OL(TM)), entered into the Oracle(R) Modernization Alliance, and developed the Pega(R) Connector for CICS with Pegasystems, Inc. These partnerships, in addition to the collaboration with IBM, contributed to the results already seen in Q1 and position HostBridge Technology for continued growth throughout the rest of 2008.

About HostBridge Technology

Founded in 2000, HostBridge Technology has established a reputation within the CICS community as the company that can solve the hardest integration problems on-time and on-budget, even after competing solutions fail. The HostBridge software provides immediate access to CICS resources as XML documents or web services. Because it runs within CICS, the high-performance engine benefits from the proven reliability and availability of the mainframe. Being mainframe resident also places HostBridge in close proximity to the legacy applications to create high-fidelity integration architectures. This approach enables the legacy applications to remain unchanged and avoids the inherent inefficiency of screen scraping.

HostBridge Technology provides software for IBM System z customers with an ongoing investment in CICS applications. Using the HostBridge U.S. Patented software, any middle-tier application can securely invoke CICS transactions as web services and receive their output as XML documents. By providing real-time access, along with high-performance process automation, HostBridge allows enterprises to take a quantum leap forward in integrating CICS applications into other business processes or offering CICS applications as Web Services. HostBridge customers include Delta Dental, Navy Federal Credit Union, New York City Department of Education, Experian, Farm Credit Services, Main Street America Group, and others.
