ALTOONA, Pa. — ALTO Associates LLC has announced the company principles, Scott & Jodi Cessna, have been named the Mrs. International Pageant System “Directors of the Year” for 2008. The honor was bestowed upon the directors of the Mrs., Miss, and Miss Teen New York International Pageants by Mel and Mary Richardson, owners of the International Pageant system based in Roanoke, VA. The award was presented in Chicago, IL at the annual state directors meeting held on the eve of the Mrs. International Pageant at the North Shore Center For The Performing Arts in Skokie, IL.

We admire Mel and Mary as business owners and as people and this is a very special honor for us,” said Scott Cessna. ALTO Associates is currently seeking representatives from all over New York to compete in the Miss Teen, Miss, and Mrs. New York International Pageants.

Single and married women from 13 to 56 will compete in one of three pageants for the chance to represent New York in the Miss Teen, Miss, and Mrs. International Pageant in Chicago in July 2009. The New York state pageant will be held in Johnson City, New York on October 11, 2008.

The International Pageant system has been developed to promote today’s women and their accomplishments. Beginning 21 years ago, the International(R) system was developed to have higher standards than other pageant systems. The focus behind Mrs. International(R) is to showcase women 21 to 56 years old, married at least six months, and a resident of the state or a citizen of the country she represents. Each contestant competes in Interview Competition, which is valued for 50% of her score, Evening Gown, valued for 25% and Fitness Wear for 25%. Each contestant has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting.

Created in 2005, the focus behind Miss International(R) is to showcase single women, who are 19 to 29 years old by July 1st of the national competition year, and are a resident of the state or a citizen of the country that they represent. Each contestant competes in Interview Competition which is valued at 40% of their total score, Evening Gown, valued for 20%, Fitness Wear for 20%, and Fun Fashion Wear 20%. Each contestant has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice, that she spends the year promoting.

The purpose of Miss Teen International is to showcase women who are 13 to 18 years old, by July 1st of the national competition year and are a resident of the state or a citizen of the country they represent. Each contestant competes in Interview Competition valued at 40% of their total score, Evening Gown valued for 20%, Fitness Wear for 20%, and Fun Fashion Wear 20%. Each contestant has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting.

Applications are being accepted now to name local representatives from all over New York to participate in the state pageant in October. After submission of your application, fee, photo, and completion of a brief phone interview with the state director, you can begin your reign as a local title holder, leading up to the state pageant.
