Low Country Luxe’s signature collection of eco-chic soy candles, which are available at Westend, capture the Southern botanical scents of the Lowcountry in a variety of fragrances. Named after Lowcountry havens like Savannah and Charleston as well as Sea Grass, Spanish Moss, Gullah and High Cotton, each candle is beautifully packaged in a cylindrical celadon box adorned with a watercolor of the marsh inspired from “The Marshes of Glynn” the 1878 poem by Sidney Lanier.
Known for their clean fresh scents, Low Country Luxe’s signature candle line uses the highest quality of soy wax and the finest fragrances found. The candles are made in the U.S., are environmentally friendly and feature specially designed wicks (tested extensively to meet the highest industry standards) for a clean, maximized burn time of 100 hours.
The Gullah candle, one of the candles that will be featured during the in-store appearance, is a sweet floral creation featuring potent and intense floral heart of Southern Magnolia, Gardenia and American Holly. In the tradition of Low Country Luxe’s philosophy of giving back, a portion of the proceeds from all sales of the Gullah candle go to support the Penn Center in St. Helena Island, S.C. to sustain the legacy of the Gullah people.
On Mother’s Day 2009, Low Country Luxe will release a line of 7 ounce candles; Beau, a combination of Jasper Berry and Tobacco Flower; Belle, featuring Pomegranate and citrus and Sugah, which contains Jasmine and Rose. Beautifully packaged in linen bags, a portion of proceeds from the candles will benefit The March of Dimes.
