ORLANDO, Fla. — Tackling obesity from the inside out is no longer guess work. An exciting development that works to resolve this multi-source pandemic is the use of hypnoanalysis combined with hypnotherapy and Heart of the Golden Triangle Publishers has released a new book, “Core Healing, Dissolving the DIS – Eases of Our Times” (ISBN-13: 9780615165974), that gets to the core of the matter.

Just as an MRI serves as a necessity for discovering problems within the body, hypnoanalysis is an essential tool for exploring the mind of an individual troubled by obesity or other self-destructive behavior.

The book fascinates with true stories of why people actually develop the problems they do. It is a readable, easy-to-understand book that takes a look at the guts of pandemic issues such as obesity, as well as the plagues of addictions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and more.

Author Dr. Joyce Glasser has taken two decades of experience in the field of hypnoanalytic work and shares secrets of the subconscious mind. She clearly explains why people suffer from these common problems.

“Hypnoanalysis facilitates the surfacing of a person’s consciously- unavailable unknowns, a person’s subconsciously held truths,” Glasser explained. “A person’s subconscious is the gold mine of irrational, untrue beliefs that dictate out-of-control behavior.”

The reasons for obesity are as varied as the people who suffer from the disorder. One patient believed that obesity would make her invisible. Dr. Glasser explored the rationale behind her concept and it was explained to her that “people avert their eyes from me when I waddle by.”

Hypnoanalytic investigation further questioned why the person wished to be invisible. This led to a discussion of name calling where the patient was referred to as the “ugly duckling of the family” when she was a child. In no small measure, this was a catalyst in promoting the problem.

The subconscious mind catalogues and makes available for governing response, a person’s self concepts and beliefs – positive and negative. Hypnoanalysis seeks and hypnotherapy deletes and replaces the negatives with positives so that a person is free to implement the positives without hindrance.

“Without a seek, delete, and replace process, the negatives remain, can dominate and cause difficulty,” Dr. Glasser added.

Negative thoughts lead to negative emotions and actions. Conversely, subconsciously-held positive thoughts in the form of self concepts and self beliefs lead to positive feelings and constructive, self-fulfilling behavior.

“No other word than ‘inspiring’ can summarize the work described in Dr. Glasser’s book,” Steve Warner, Ph.D., Advisory Editor to the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis, said. “This guidebook is not only clearly written, but comes from a heart and soul type of dedication to help heal.”

Dabney M. Ewin, M.D., FACS, Clinical Professor of Surgery and Psychiatry of Tulane, University Medical School and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Louisiana State University Medical School, explains that Dr. Glasser emphasizes that peoples’ subconscious programming dictates their choices.

“Dr. Glasser describes, in a simple manner, how this happens and how to change bad programming through hypnotic regressions to the origin of the bad ideas,” Dr. Ewin said. “The book gets to the core of the problems directly, and the techniques are described clearly. Both professionals and lay people can benefit from reading this book.”

Dr. Glasser’s passion to ease pain and suffering prompted her return to school where she earned a doctorate in Educational Psychology with clinical emphasis from Florida State University. She is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor.

Currently, Dr. Glasser has a private practice in Eustis, Florida where she specializes in Core Healing. She has made frequent radio and television appearances, has conducted seminars, and given lectures. She is a member of the Florida Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
