LOS ANGELES, Calif. /California Newswire/ — Studios love to make movies about con men and audiences have spent over one billion dollars watching these exciting films. Comisar’s life story has attracted continuous media buzz over the past 15 years. His social media following is enormous with over 650,000 Twitter followers and over one million YouTube views. All while sitting in federal prison.

With his release quickly approaching, Comisar is now offering the movie rights to his thrilling life story to the highest bidding producer or studio. In an attempt to rebuild his acting career a principal role in the film is also part of the deal.

Former ICM talent agent, Barry Freed, says, “Movies about con men have done exceptionally well, but this guy Comisar is not only a legendary con artist, he’s also a Hollywood actor. That’s what makes his story so commercially appealing.”

The movie, “Catch Me if You Can” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Steven Spielberg was based on the life story of another famous con man. That movie made millions and won several Oscars. History could repeat itself here.

“Who wouldn’t want to be attached to this project? It’s a win-win for everyone involved,” said Hollywood publicist, Laura Levine.

Comisar had acting roles in “Tough Luck,” “Fists of Iron,” “The Seduction of Gina,” “Sister Dearest,” “Throb,” “Hell Town,” and many other movies and TV shows. He wrote the book, “America’s Guide to Fraud Prevention,” which is the gold standard of the fraud prevention industry. He appeared regularly on Dateline NBC, and The View, as their on-camera consumer fraud expert. He was a guest on TV talk shows and news magazine programs over 100 times.

Comisar shares the spotlight with Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Tim Allen, Wesley Snipes, and Martha Stewart, who have all served time in prison.
