luggage seal

BOGOTA, Colombia, April 14, 2014 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Securoseal tamper evident luggage seal shall be offered to departing passengers in both the International and Domestic departure terminals of El Dorado Airport, Bogota, Colombia.

Securoseal is a world first anti-tamper luggage seal providing tamper protection for unaccompanied luggage. It does what traditional locks and cable ties do not – it comprehensively seals luggage and allows the traveler to detect tampering activity. It has been specially designed to overcome the major problems that affect existing products.

It isolates zips, straps luggage closed, provides tamper evidence, is tough enough to survive transportation (supporting more than double the maximum check-in weight), weighs less than a common lock and it comes with a receipt, so the user has proof of how their luggage was sealed.

Dion Mrocki, Operations Director at Securoseal, confirmed that the offering is made pursuant to a contract with OPAIN S.A., the concessionaire and operator of El Dorado Airport after the successful completion of a comprehensive approval process involving on-site operations, baggage handling system and security personnel.

Securoseal shall be offered to passengers of El Dorado Airport from April 2014.
