Stanger brings 27 years of experience in healthcare, benefits consulting, human resources, compliance, wellness and client relationship management to EPIC.

As an account executive, Stanger will provide client service leadership, including overall strategy, coverage negotiations, compliance consulting and the coordination and management of internal and external resources. This will include ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables, overseeing client service teams and managing a book of business. Stanger will also assist in bringing new clients to EPIC.

Before joining EPIC, Stanger was a senior account executive at Intercare Insurance Solutions. Prior to Intercare, Stanger served as an account executive at Barney & Barney, LLC and as an implementation manager for CIGNA Healthcare. Stanger began her career at Mercer, where she was a principal and senior consultant.

Stanger holds an Artium Baccalaureatus degree from Princeton University in Anthropology as well a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Chicago.

Stanger has also earned advanced degrees including a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Development and Aging from the University of California, San Francisco.

In addition to her extensive education, Stanger has been published in numerous academic journals and trade publications including Employee Benefits Plan Review, Compensation and Benefits Magazine, Managed Care Quarterly, National Underwriter, and Journal of Compensation and Benefits.

Stanger has extensively studied whole foods nutrition as well as complementary and alternative medicine. She is the author of the whole foods nutrition book The Perfect Formula Diet.
