AssociaLAKE FOREST, Calif. /California Newswire/ — Professional Community Management of California, Inc. continues to add charitable organizations to its roster of philanthropic endeavors. Most recently, the company sponsored Second Harvest Food Bank, the International Energy Alliance, Savannah's Organic Ranch Golf Tournament at the Aliso Viejo Country Club, Home Aid Orange County, Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley and the Lake Forest Community Association's Community Spirit Team.

"Our corporate philanthropy policy takes a hands-on approach," said Donny Disbro, chief executive officer of PCM. "We not only grant sponsorships and donations to organizations, but we also support our employees and homeowner associations in their efforts to collect food, supplies and other important resources for our communities."

Employee-driven philanthropy, such as the annual Associa Cares/United Way campaign not only benefits the community but also boosts morale.

"There's a lot of great energy around the office when staff takes on a worthy cause," Disbro said. "We support these efforts with funding and in some cases, we grant paid time to send our employees out to serve the community."

A few weeks ago, Disbro announced PCM's commitment to an ongoing donation to the Lake Forest Community Association's Community Spirit Team. The team identifies homes that are in disrepair and helps homeowners with a demonstrated need for financial assistance. Their first project was the home of Lake Forest resident, Patrice Munday. Munday and her daughter regularly volunteer to find lost pets in the neighborhood.

"I've lived here for 11 years and this is home for me and my children," Munday said. "I don't think I'd live anywhere else."

Ultimately, PCM's goal is to help homeowners love where they live.

"My hope is that when a homeowner learns that their community management company has supported a local charity or event, they feel that we are a good neighbor and we're here for them," Disbro said.
