SEATTLE, Wash., Sept. 2, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest announces an epilepsy educational conference to be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage. The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature presentations on epilepsy medications, treatments, neuroimaging, a medical panel for questions, and a Studio E Art Therapy session.

Speakers include epileptologists Dr. David Buckland of Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, Dr. Edward “Rusty” Novotny of the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Anchorage neurologist Dr. Scot Hines of the Alaska Native Medical Center/Coastal Neurology. The Studio E Art Therapy session will be presented by Anchorage art therapist Katie Kadjan Bell, LPC, ATR.
