LOS ANGELES, Calif. /California Newswire/ — Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC), a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage, announced today the addition of Cris Nunez as principal in EPIC's Los Angeles office. Nunez brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial insurance and risk management, with a focus on workers' compensation.
Along with client relations, Nunez will be responsible for expanding EPIC's presence in Los Angeles. Additionally, he will develop, place and manage insurance and risk management programs for EPIC clients.

Prior to EPIC, Nunez worked as a vice president for HB Insurance Agency. In this role, Nunez structured specialty insurance programs for targeted industries and managed new business growth. He also specialized in complex Workers' Compensation programs and led the agency's risk management department.
Nunez holds a degree in Business Administration & Computer Science from Phillips College. He is licensed in Property & Casualty, Accident & Health and Life insurance.
