SACRAMENTO /California Newswire/ — Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today issued the following statement regarding California Congressman George Radanovich’s (R-Mariposa) announcement that he will not seek re-election in 2010:

“Congressman Radanovich has built a notable and distinguished career while representing California and the people of the Central Valley. His 15 years in Congress have been invaluable, and on behalf of all Californians I thank Congressman Radanovich for his leadership and service. My thoughts and prayers are with him as he leaves public life to spend more time with his family.”
