Ca. Gov. Schwarzenegger Appoints Stephen Gallon to Riverside County Superior Court

SACRAMENTO /California Newswire/ — Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced the appointment of Stephen J. Gallon to a judgeship in the Riverside County Superior Court. Gallon, 40, of Temecula, has served as a supervising and senior deputy district attorney for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office since 2003. Prior to that, he served as a deputy district attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office from 1998 to 2003. Gallon earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Glendale University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

He fills the vacancy created by the conversion of a court commissioner position on November 6, 2008. Gallon is a Republican.

The compensation for this position is $178,789.
