Ca. Gov. Schwarzenegger Appoints Pamela Butler to Monterey County Superior Court

SACRAMENTO /California Newswire/ — Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced the appointment of Pamela L. Butler to a judgeship in the Monterey County Superior Court. Butler, 39, of Carmel, has been a deputy district attorney with the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office since 1995.

She earned a Master of Law degree from Chapman University, Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Butler fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Gary E. Meyer. Butler is a Republican.

The compensation for this position is $178,789.
