SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Master of South Texas (MOST) swimmers, who recently competed in the XII FINA Master Swimmers’ World Championship in Perth, Australia, returned home with an impressive record of seven gold and two silver medals. And HomeSwimmer, a stationary swimming system, played a key role in training for this important event. This year MOST swimmer, Graham Johnston of Houston, took home an impressive six gold medals for the 800, 100, 200 LC meter Freestyle, 200 meter Individual Medley, and the open water 3K race. In 2006, this same competition was held in California where the 77-year old swimmer set eight world records.

The Ladies’ (65+) Relays won silver in Medley Relay and gold in the Free Relay. Head Coach Susan Ingraham and her water polo team were among the 71 competing water polo teams; they secured a silver medal.

All year, MOST swimmers trained intensely hoping to secure several world titles. Coach Ingraham explains that she and her team have made the innovative HomeSwimmer system their key strength and technique training tool.

“HomeSwimmer has been a great tool that we regularly add into our workouts,” Ingraham says. “Using the HomeSwimmer as a speed and resistance tool really makes each swimmer dig into the water and force an early catch within each stroke as they fight to remain at the same point forward in the pool.”

This new, innovative, and economical portable stationary swimming system for swimming exercise turns even the smallest swimming pool into an Olympic-sized pool. It’s a great tool for athletes in training who want to get a serious swimming workout or for people who simply enjoy swimming and want to stay in shape.

The XII FINA Master Swimmers’ World Championship – a prestigious international swimming competition recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) – included more than 5,104 competitors and officials from 74 National Federations.

Established in 2006, HomeSwimmer, Ltd. develops and markets a unique line of high-quality swimming fitness products for millions of residential pool owners, worldwide.
